Hey y’all! Happy Earth Day! Today April 22nd, is Earth Day, where we stop and reflect on what our Earth does for us and how we can better protect it. It is also the 21st anniversary of the opening at Animal Kingdom at WDW.
Animal Kingdom is full great interactions between guests and the environment. You can learn how to take care of the animals and plants in our eco-system to make the Earth better. At WDW Discount Club we have a few partners who are especially eco-conscience by the products they offer.
WDW Magazine offers a digital form of their magazine. The digital edition has a few extras in it, including a few articles and fun activities.
Touringplans is super eco-friendly by letting you access all of the plans via your phone or device while at WDW and not having to print and bring the plans with you. This is very helpful and environmentally friendly.
the easy guide to your Walt Disney World visit also offers a digital version that is paper-free. All of these are great tools for your trip!
Audio Tour: The Mexico Pavilion and Kingdom Classics performed by Peter Alden can both be downloaded off iTunes and will save the earth by not shipping to you. These are both perfect additions to get your family ready for your trip!
While you are at WDW you might want to check out some local food finds by going on one of the Celebrate Food Tours. These are super environmentally friendly because instead of hoping in a car to go from place to place, visitors will walk and get some exercise after enjoying delicious bites at each stop.
We can all do our part to help save the earth! Are there any ways you plan your trip so that you are environmentally conscious? Tell us on our Facebook page or in the comment section.
