Snacking 101 at WDW

Hey Guys! Welcome back to your escape from the world and dose of WDW. Who loves snacks??? I know, I do! Snacking at WDW is a great adventure.

You can visit World Showcase in Epcot and try snacks from all over the world. In France you can try Macarons, Mexico is known for the Churros with Caramel Sauce (my favorite), or even a funnel cake with ice cream at the American Adventure pavilion. Are you hungry yet?

Over in Magic Kingdom, it is a toss up between LeFou’s Brew from Gaston’s Tavern and Aloha Isle’s Pineapple Dole Whip, as my favorites. Both are very refreshing which is nice on a hot summer day in Florida. When visiting Hollywood Studios, you will want to check out Toy Story Land and stop at Andy’s Lunchbox and grab a Lunch Box Tart. If you are in the mood for something more substantial you will want to try the Potato Barrels, they are similar to nachos but build with tater tots instead of chips.

Animal Kingdom is the largest of the WDW parks, so you will do a lot of walking. This park is also very globally minded and has interesting great snacks that will fill anyone up. The World of Avatar is the newest land in Animal Kingdom and their snacks are like nothing you have ever tried before. While visiting this unique area you will want to try Pongu Lumpla, a pineapple cream cheese spring roll, trust me on this one! When interacting with the animals on Discovery Island you will want to stop in at Eight Spoon Cafe and try the Baked Macaroni and Cheese.

Snacking while at WDW is a great way to stretch your budget. You can have a heavy breakfast later in the morning and then have a heavy afternoon snack that will fill you up until dinner. You will find great snacks all over WDW. What are some of your favorite WDW snacks?
